Key Duties
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
Measuring, marking, and preparing materials for fabrication
Cutting, grinding, and preparing steel components
Performing MIG welding to complete fabrication and repair work
Fabricating and assembling structural steel, plate, pipe, and metal components
Operating workshop equipment, including welders, grinders, drills, bandsaws, and cutting equipment
Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
Repairing and modifying existing steel components and equipment
Maintaining workshop tools and equipment
