Faith & Education Team Lead, Claims OperationsWe are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Advocacy team at Claims Advocacy.
This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.Faith & Education Team Lead, Claims OperationsThis role leads a team of claims professionals supporting clients across the faith-based, independent schools, childcare and early learning, and broader education sectors.
You will combine people leadership, technical claims oversight, stakeholder management and continuous improvement to help deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes and a positive client experience.We will count on you to:Lead, coach and develop a team of claims advisers and claims specialists, including regular one-on-ones, performance discussions and capability upliftProvide technical guidance and escalation support on complex, sensitive, high-risk or high-value claims mattersOversee claim intake, triage and file management to ensure matters are allocated appropriately and handled within service standardsManage client and stakeholder relationships, including claims review meetings and communication with insurers, brokers, third-party providers and internal teamsMonitor service performance, review KPIs and take action to improve quality, turnaround times and workload managementSupport process improvement, governance, reporting and claims system adoption to strengthen client service and operational effectivenessWhat you need to have:Demonstrated experience in insurance,
