The Position
Manage import cargo for sea and air freight from beginning to end
Monitor and report cargo status from origin to delivery
Resolve any potential service issues
Liaise with overseas and local offices, internal departments and carriers
Receive shipment pre-alerts and specifications prior to departure
Process import documentation for air and sea freight shipments
Ensure efficient import processes to expedite clearance and delivery

The Requirements
Proven import experience
within a freight forwarder
with exposure to air and sea processes
Exceptional attention to detail
Well developed negotiation, customer service and problem solving skills
Cargowise experience - 1- 2 years minimum preferred
