As a Senior Carpenter at Everything Outside, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality playground structures that bring outdoor spaces to life.Based in South East Queensland, this full time role will see you working as part of an on-site team to build bespoke and exciting school playgrounds and outdoor classrooms.What you'll be doingUnder the instruction of an Operations Manager and Foreman, you will prepare sites for playground construction, including setting out, measuring, and ensuring structural accuracy.Working within a team, you will construct playground elements such as timber structures, decks, bridges, climbing features, and other bespoke carpentry components.You will read and interpret plans, cut and assemble materials, and ensure all builds meet safety and quality standards.You will work towards construction deadlines and maintain a safety-first approach to all tasks.What we're looking forAt least five year's experience in carpentry or constructionProficient in the use of hand and power tools relevant to carpentryAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and plansAn enthusiastic and proactive team member who is solutions focusedStrong understanding of construction techniques and structural principlesAbility to commute to sites and stay away from home for regional projectsA valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportationA LR (low rigid) licence is preferred but not essentialMust have a Blue Card (working with children check) or be willing to apply for oneMust be eligible to work in AustraliaCertificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent) is preferredWhat we offerAt Everything Outside, we value our employees and that's why we offer an excellent remuneration package.
