Discover more via our website.Your next career opportunityYou will build advanced skills in flock and herd health, wholefarm consultancy and applied production animal research.You will work closely with experienced Mackinnon veterinarians, gaining mentoring, supervision and support tailored to your development.You will contribute directly to farmer outcomes, industry engagement and research projects that shape sustainable grazing enterprises.What you will deliver:Deliver high quality sheep and beef clinical services, maintaining accurate records and timely communication, billing and regulatory compliance.Support wholefarm and corporate consultancy projects, contributing to planning, investigations, reporting and farmer decisionmaking.Contribute to applied research and extension activities, including study design, data collection, analysis and preparation of publications.Engage with farmers, agribusiness and industry bodies to build strong relationships and grow the Mackinnon client network.Contribute to DVM student practicals and supervision, sharing onfarm skills and production animal insights with future veterinarians.You may be a great fit if you:Hold a recognised veterinary degree enabling registration with the Victorian Veterinary Board.Bring proven knowledge of Australian sheep and beef industries, including grazing systems,



management practices and pasture production.Have clinical experience with ruminant livestock and interest in developing wholefarm herd health consultancy skills.Demonstrate emerging research capability, including assisting studies, analysing data and contributing to reports or publications.Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, practical language, building rapport and trust with farmers and industry clients.Possess a current Victorian driver's licence and willingness to travel to regional farms, including overnight visits.For further information please refer to the attached PD.You must have current valid work rights for Australia.
