You will play a key role in the restart of a major underground silver-lead-zinc mine in Broken Hill, NSW.
With mining scheduled to recommence in November ****, you will join the technical services team during a critical ramp-up period, taking ownership of mine scheduling and drill and blast design to support the operation toward nameplate production.Working within established systems and using Deswick, you will help translate the mine plan into practical production outcomes.
You will work closely with the mining and technical services teams, supported by an established operation, while contributing to a fast-paced restart setting where your ability to hit the ground running will be highly valued.This is an initial six-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension as the mine ramps toward full production.
You will work an 8/6 back-to-back roster on day shift, with 11-hour days and FIFO/DIDO arrangements available.
