market developments and emerging trendsProvide support to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.Requirements3+ years PQE in Australian legal practiceExperience as a practicing environment and planning lawyer in Victoria, NSW or QueenslandLitigation experience is advantageous.
This is in relevant specialist environmental, planning and/or land courts and tribunals (particularly in relation to planning and development appeals)Strong knowledge of planning, development and environmental regulatory frameworksExperience advising on administrative, environmental, planning and local government lawExcellent communication and plain-English writing skillsExcellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skillsAptitude for building and fostering relationships with a range of diverse clients and local and international stakeholdersExperience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:Transactional experience advising on environmental and planning law issues, including legal due diligenceLand use planning, zoning and development assessmentEnvironmental and planning approvals and referrals, including under the EPBC ActWaste law and circular economyBiodiversity, heritage or vegetation clearing issuesRenewable energy projectsJudicial review or merits review proceedingsClimate change,
