You will provide visible,



practical leadership across the kindergarten while supporting educators through coaching, mentoring, professional learning and on-floor guidance.Working closely with the Approved Provider and leadership team, you will oversee service operations, staffing, compliance and continuous improvement while ensuring Springside Kindergarten continues to deliver high-quality early childhood education.This position is suited to an organised and capable early childhood professional with strong leadership skills, sound professional judgement and a genuine commitment to supporting quality practice across the service.What we offerThis is a full-time position of 38 hours per week; however, we welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates seeking flexible working arrangements and are open to discussing how the role could work for the right person.Paid school holidaysSalary and employment conditions in accordance with the VECTEAA supportive and experienced teamOngoing qualified learning and development opportunitiesA varied leadership role with opportunities to influence practice and continuous improvement across the serviceThe opportunity to lead within an established and high-quality sessional kindergartenThe Successful Applicant Will HaveAn ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualificationCurrent Victorian Institute of Teaching registrationEligibility and willingness to provide written consent to be appointed as the Nominated SupervisorCurrent First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management qualificationsCurrent Mandatory Reporting and GECCKO training, or a willingness to complete any required training before commencementA strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations, Child Safe Standards and relevant early childhood legislationDemonstrated experience in early childhood leadership, service operations and regulatory complianceThe ability to coach, mentor and support educators to strengthen professional practiceStrong organisational, communication and decision-making skillsA commitment to child safety, inclusion, quality practice and continuous improvementChild Safety CommitmentSpringside Kindergarten is committed to providing a child-safe environment where children and young people are safe, feel safe and are empowered to participate in decisions that affect them.
