In this full-time, on-site position, you will lead our passionate kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Located in the beautiful Beechmont region of Queensland, you will be responsible for all culinary operations, from menu planning to kitchen management of two venues.What you'll be doingOversee all kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and staff managementDevelop innovative and seasonal menus that showcase local, high-quality produceEnsure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and serviceManage and mentor a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staffMaintain a safe, efficient, and well-organised kitchen environmentCollaborate with the management team to align culinary offerings with the brand and guest expectationsWhat we're looking forMinimum 2 years' experience as a Head Chef or in an equivalent senior culinary roleProven track record of leading and developing high-performing kitchen teamsExceptional culinary skills and a deep understanding of contemporary cuisine trendsStrong background in resort or hotel dining operations is highly preferredStrong time management and organisational abilities to oversee all kitchen operationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with guests and team membersPassion for using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredientsFood safety and hygiene certificationWhat we offerAt Binna Burra Mountain Lodge, we value our team and are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
