We're passionate about helping students build real skills, confidence, and career ready capability.As a Hairdressing Teacher, you'll play a hands on role in guiding students from diverse backgrounds as they develop practical skills and strong industry knowledge.
Your current industry experience will be highly valued and embedded across the teaching and learning journey.To be successful, you'll hold a Certificate III in Hairdressing (or higher) and have at least three years of current industry experience and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or equivalent).
The must havesAn approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area or approved equivalent qualifications, approved industry experience and the ability to demonstrate currency in vocational workplace competenciesAn AQF4 or higher vocational teaching qualification - for example, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE*****Employee Victorian Working with Children and satisfactory Police CheckCurrent driver's licenceHighly desirable requirementsAn approved course of teacher training accredited at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 5 or Level 6, with significant teaching experience,
