A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, with significant brownfield delivery in and around operational transport assets.
The head contractor is seeking a Training Coordinator to coordinate competency systems, inductions and training programs for the project.

compliance documentation and audit readinessLiaise with training providers and rail operators to deliver specialised competency programsMonitor training completion rates and identify gaps in workforce capabilitySupport continuous improvement of training delivery and assessment qualityManage training budgets, scheduling and resource allocationRespond to competency requests and manage emergency response trainingProduce training reports and metrics for project leadershipWork with supervisors to embed training outcomes into day-to-day operationsWhat We're Looking ForRelevant qualification in training, human resources, business administration or project support3+ years coordinating training or competency systems on a $100m+ project or regulated industryHands-on use of learning management systems and competency matricesExperience with high-volume worker mobilisation and induction deliveryStrong spreadsheet, database and reporting capability2+ years' average tenure per employer with at least one training role held for 2+ yearsCurrent construction induction card and ability to access operational work areasExcellent organisational and communication skillsAttention to accuracy and compliance detailAbility to work with diverse learners and adapt delivery approaches
