Collinsville Open Cut is located approximately 160 km from Airlie Beach in Queensland, a town known as the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.
Producing both metallurgical and thermal coal for the export market, the surface mine has a long operational life and is transitioning from a dragline strip operation to a truck and shovel terrace operation.
Reporting to the CHPP Supervisor and Superintendent, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of CHPP fixed plant assets.
You will work collaboratively within a dynamic operations team, utilising available resources to optimise plant performance, equipment availability, and production outcomes.
This role is well suited to a tradesperson with strong operational discipline, a high regard for safety, and a proactive approach to plant optimisation and housekeeping.Core accountabilitiesConduct regular CHPP plant inspections to monitor operating conditions and maximise efficiencyRespond to and assist with plant breakdowns to support the timely restoration of operationsSafely and efficiently operate mobile equipment,
