The service has become a highly sought-after rotation due to its clinical exposure, training opportunities and supportive environment.The Unaccredited OMS Registrar plays a key role in delivering clinical care through participation in outpatient clinics, inpatient ward management and operating theatre activities, including dentoalveolar surgery under local anaesthesia.
You will assist in surgical procedures, coordinate investigations and contribute to multidisciplinary care within both hospital and community settings.The role includes participation in a 1:4 on-call roster and close collaboration with accredited registrars, consultants and wider multidisciplinary teams including dental practitioners and Oral Health Services staff.This role provides a valuable stepping stone for those pursuing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training, offering essential clinical experience and exposure to support applications for RACDS-accredited pathways, including referee support and guidance from consultants.You will be part of a highly skilled and professional team that values respect,
