This is an outstanding opportunity for doctors pursuing a career in Psychiatry to gain valuable clinical experience within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with exposure to a diverse range of mental health presentations across secure, forensic and rehabilitation settings.
The Opportunity Working under the supervision of experienced Consultant Psychiatrists, you will provide high-quality assessment and management of patients with complex mental health conditions while developing your clinical skills in a structured teaching environment.
Your role will include:
Assessment and management of adult mental health patients
Working within multidisciplinary teams across inpatient services
Participation in ward rounds, case conferences and treatment planning
Developing skills in forensic, rehabilitation and secure psychiatry
Participation in education, quality improvement and clinical governance activities

Requirements To be considered you should have:
Current AHPRA registration (Limited, Provisional or General Registration preferred)
Previous Australian clinical experience is highly desirable
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Psychiatry
