Due to continued growth and we are expanding our leadership team and are now seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Brisbane service operation.This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to build strong teams, run a tight operation, and deliver exceptional service outcomes.The RoleReporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the service department, including fleet availability, workshop and field service operations, customer experience, and commercial outcomes.Your mission is simple (but not easy): build a high-performing service team, keep the fleet moving, and grow a profitable, well-run service operation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop and manage a team of technicians, service controllers and support staffDrive service performance, efficiency,



utilisation and customer satisfactionEnsure fleet availability through effective scheduling, maintenance and repair planningOwn service KPIs including productivity, turnaround times, quality, and profitabilityImplement and maintain strong processes, systems and controlsManage costs, labour efficiency and parts usageBuild strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholdersEnsure safety, compliance and quality standards are always metContinuously improve the service operation as the business scalesAbout YouYou are a confident, commercially-minded Service Manager who knows how to run a service department properly, not just keep it ticking over.You will ideally have:Proven experience leading a service, workshop or fleet maintenance operationStrong people leadership skills and the ability to build high-performing teamsSolid understanding of service department KPIs, workflow management and cost controlExcellent communication skills.A robust customer service mindset with a practical, no-nonsense approachA current driver's licenceHighly regarded but not essential:Experience in forklifts, access equipment, heavy vehicles, plant or similar industriesAutomotive or mechanical trade qualificationWhat's in it for YouSenior leadership role in a growing national businessReal autonomy to shape and improve the operationStrong support from an experienced leadership teamCompetitive salary package: $125,000 – $145,000 + Super +bonus and company vehicleStable, long-term opportunity in a business that's investing heavily in growth
