Project Officer - Prevention Research Support ProgramExciting prospect to be a Project Officer on the Prevention Research Support Program Grant Round 7.
Maternity and the First **** days (CIA Professor Dharmintra Pasupathy)Base Salary starting from $117,133 + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityWe are seeking a Research and Project Officer to lead research projects, optimise grant management processes and support the delivery of impactful research outcomes for the Prevention Research Support Program Grant Round 7.

The role involves coordinating research methodologies, managing data processes, strengthening stakeholder partnerships, and ensuring effective administration, compliance and dissemination of research activities.Your key responsibilities will be to:lead and optimise research projects, ensuring methodologies are refined and research objectives are achievedoversee the lifecycle of grant applications, from development through to reporting, ensuring effective funding outcomesprovide advice on research direction, methodologies and compliance requirementscoordinate data management processes, including analysis and reporting to support research insightsstrengthen partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance research collaborations and initiativesstreamline administrative processes supporting research documentation, publications and compliance requirementsmanage stakeholder communications, ensuring concerns are addressed effectively while fostering trust and collaboration, this include providing secretariat support for key program meetings including stakeholder engagementfacilitate timely report submissions,
maintain data integrity within university systems and support compliance initiativescoordinate purchasing processes and resolve discrepancies in payment scheduleschampion a proactive approach to health and safety, review work area protocols and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain consistent safety standardsundertake other duties appropriate within the classification level as required.About youbachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experienceexperience coordinating and managing grant application processesexperience conducting scientific literature searches and supporting research administrationexperience working in a research-intensive environment and the higher education sectorexperience managing, reporting and disseminating research data including reporting on financial data in conjunction with our business partners in Financeexperience in people management, including managing staff performance and developmentstrong skills in data analysis, analytical and problem solving, critical thinking and decision makingstrong planning, organisation, communication, teamwork and collaboration skills with experience using research software.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaWork Rights: you must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
