REI Super emphasises responsible communication, regulatory compliance, and helping members make informed decisions about their financial future.Role Description The Business Development Manager QLD & WA is a full-time, hybrid role based in Brisbane, QLD, with flexibility for some work from home.
This role is responsible for building and managing relationships with real estate employers, industry bodies, and key stakeholders across Queensland and Western Australia to grow REI Super's membership and employer base.
Day-to-day activities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting presentations and information sessions, and providing support to employers and members on superannuation products and services.
The role involves collaborating with internal teams on marketing initiatives, member education programs, and employer onboarding, while ensuring all activities align with regulatory and compliance requirements.
The BDM will regularly travel within QLD and to WA as needed, maintain accurate reporting on business development activities, and contribute to strategic planning for regional growth.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in business development, account management, or sales within financial services, superannuation, or related industries.Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with employers, industry bodies, or associations.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear, accessible language.Proven ability to work independently, manage a regional territory, and meet growth and engagement targets.Solid understanding of superannuation, investment, or insurance products, and familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.Comfort with a hybrid work environment, including effective remote collaboration and use of CRM and digital engagement tools.Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, commerce, marketing, or a related field is highly regarded.Willingness to travel across QLD & WA and occasionally interstate, and a valid driver's licence.
