Our client Hope Connect is seeking multiple experienced and collaborative professionals to join their newly established Families Together team, delivering high-quality, client-centred support to children, young people and families across Western Sydney.About the Opportunity...These roles provide therapeutic interventions, advocacy, referral, education and case management services to families with children and young people aged up to 17 years who are experiencing complex needs.This is a varied and rewarding role, incorporating:Individual and family workHome visitingCase management and support planningCommunity networking and stakeholder engagementWorking within a strengths-based, client-centred and Family Systems framework, you'll empower families to identify their goals,

The successful candidate will bring a genuine commitment to strengths-based, trauma-informed and family-centred practice, along with a passion for supporting children,
young people and families to achieve positive outcomes.Selection Criteria...Tertiary qualifications in Social Work/Social Welfare/Counselling or equivalentA minimum of 3 years' experience in a community-based service managing a caseloadExperience in working with families and childrenSkills in case management including assessment, support planning and reviewsStrengths in maintaining a non-judgemental attitude and openness when working with clients, whilst committing to self-careAbility to liaise and collaborate with other community services, government departments and donorsExperience in responding to people with complex needsExcellent communication skills with children as well as adultsExcellent report writing skills including strong case note writing skillsPossess organisational skills and ability to be flexibleComputer literacyCurrent driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured carValid Working with Children Check (WWCC)Australian Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyWhy join Hope Connect?
