We are partnering with a high-growth, ASX-listed fintech business to recruit an experienced Group Accounting Manager for an initial 3–6 month contract.This is a senior, hands-on role within the Financial Control team, taking ownership of key group accounting activities and ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting.
You will also lead a small team and work closely with senior finance stakeholders across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the month-end close processTake ownership of group accounting and financial control activitiesReview monthly results and provide meaningful commentary to senior finance leadershipOversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial informationSupport half-year and year-end statutory reportingEnsure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and IFRSLiaise with internal and external auditorsMaintain and strengthen the internal control environmentPartner with FP&A; on budgeting and forecastingOversee key finance operations, including AP, AR and payment processesLead, develop and mentor a small accounting teamIdentify opportunities for process improvement, automation and greater efficiencySupport ad hoc commercial, accounting and finance projectsASX Listed Fintech - Contract RoleThe OpportunityWe are partnering with a high-growth, ASX-listed fintech business to recruit an experienced Group Accounting Manager for an initial 3–6 month contract.This is a senior, hands-on role within the Financial Control team, taking ownership of key group accounting activities and ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting.

You will ideally have:Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards / IFRSDemonstrated experience leading month-end and financial reportingPrevious team management experienceStrong Excel and ERP systems capabilityExcellent analytical and stakeholder management skillsExperience within financial services, fintech or another regulated setting would be highly regardedThis is an excellent opportunity to join a successful ASX-listed fintech in a visible finance leadership role and make an immediate impact.Immediate start | 3–6 month contract | Sydney
