The role assists the Country North Regional Team Manager in implementing practice improvements, managing workforce activities,
and coordinating daily operational responsibilities.Key duties of the roleProvide proficient, person-centred clinical nursing care, monitor care plans, and oversee nursing care delivery within a designated team to achieve positive client outcomes.Assists and supports the Regional Team Manager or equivalent in management, clinical, and education activitiesParticipate in clinical teaching, overseeing learning experience, and goal setting for students, new staff and staff with less experienceIntegrate advanced theoretical knowledge, evidence from a range of sources and own experience to devise and achieve agreed client care outcomesPromote continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with the Regional Team Manager or equivalent of the teamSkills and ExperienceRegistered Nurse/Midwife with current or eligible registration with NMBA and practising certificate.Minimum 3 years post-registration nursing experience or current Clinical Nurse classification.Demonstrated clinical competence in the relevant area of nursing practice.Experience supervising and supporting student nurses, enrolled nurses and junior staff.Knowledge of healthcare legislation, standards, ethics and quality improvement practices.Enquiries can be directed toNicole BranchRegional Team Manager - Country NorthThe South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
