2 x Full time, fixed term positions until 14th of December ****Opportunity to help shape the future of the University's course offerings through impactful research, market insights and student-focused decision-makingBase Salary $107,312 - $115,686 (HEO6) + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe University of Sydney is seeking two Course Insights and Research Officers to join the Curriculum and Policy team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Curriculum Market Research, you will play a key role in supporting course review, development and enhancement through high-quality research, analysis and market insights.
Working across a range of projects, you will undertake both primary and secondary research to better understand student preferences, behaviours and expectations, industry requirements, competitor activity, and emerging higher education trends.
Your insights will help inform evidence-based decisions that shape the University's course portfolio and student experience.undertake qualitative and quantitative market research to support course review, redevelopment and current course development initiativesdesign and support the delivery of surveys, interviews, focus groups and other research activitiesanalyse student, industry and competitor data to identify trends, opportunities and risks that inform curriculum planningcoordinate end-to-end research projects, including participant recruitment, scheduling and logisticsprepare reports, presentations and recommendations for a range of stakeholders across the Universitycontribute to competitor benchmarking, market analysis and environmental scanning to support strategic decision-making.About youexperience undertaking primary and secondary research using qualitative and quantitative methodologiesstrong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsexcellent written and verbal communication skills,
with the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insightsexperience preparing reports, presentations and recommendations for stakeholdersstrong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing prioritiesa relevant degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; experience in higher education will be highly regarded.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
