As well as offering a work culture driven by collaboration, innovation, accountability and excellence, where 'working‐smarter' became engrained in the firms' culture.The RoleAs the business continues to grow, they are now looking for an experienced operations and delivery leader to bring greater visibility, consistency and accountability to firm‐wide delivery.Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of the systems, workflow and performance rhythm that enables teams to deliver work efficiently, consistently and profitably.This is not a technical accounting or tax role.
It is a senior operations, project management and performance leadership position suited to someone who enjoys building better ways of working and getting the best out of people and systems.ResponsibilitiesOwning firm‐wide workflow and maintaining visibility of work across multiple teamsMonitoring delivery performance, capacity and productivity and identifying bottlenecks before they become issuesOwning KPI dashboards and providing meaningful performance reporting to the CEO and leadership teamDriving consistency in processes, workflows and ways of working across the firmLeading continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, turnaround times and profitabilityEnsuring appropriate discipline around pricing,



scoping and engagement of workRunning regular production and KPI meetingsCoordinating training and ensuring teams understand and consistently follow agreed processesManaging and supporting an offshore delivery teamDriving effective utilisation of workflow and compliance softwareWorking with technology leadership to identify opportunities for automation and process improvementCoaching and influencing senior stakeholders to improve delivery performance and accountabilityAbout YouYou will be an experienced operations, service delivery, project or business improvement leader who knows how to create structure and accountability across a busy, multi‐team environment.You don't need to be an accountant or tax specialist.
More important is your ability to understand how work moves through a professional services business and improve the systems, behaviours and disciplines that sit behind successful delivery.You will ideally bring:Experience leading operations, service delivery or project management within qualified services or another complex service‐based organisationA strong track record of improving workflow, throughput, productivity and consistencyExperience developing and managing KPIs, dashboards and executive‐level reportingStrong project management and process improvement capabilityAn analytical and data‐driven approach to decision makingThe confidence to influence and hold senior stakeholders accountable without necessarily having direct authority over their teamsStrong coaching and communication skillsA practical, hands‐on leadership styleAn interest in technology, automation and finding smarter ways to workBenefitsThis newly created leadership position with genuine scope to influence how an established and growing professional services firm operates.Flexible working arrangementsModern and central CBD officeAbove market remuneration + annual bonus
