The Role:An exciting chance for an experienced Security Engineer to own and enhance modern endpoint detection, cloud security and threat detection capabilities within a large enterprise environment.
You'll play a key role in strengthening security posture while working alongside high-performing cyber teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and optimise the EDR/XDR platform, including policy tuning, detection rules and incident response.Manage Cloud Security (CSPM/CNAPP), including security posture,
integrations and runtime protection.Develop and enhance detection engineering capabilities across the security platform.Leverage AI-assisted investigation and response to improve threat detection.Collaborate with Cyber teams to continuously improve security controls and processes.Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with EDR/XDR platforms (CrowdStrike Falcon highly regarded).
Hands-on experience with CSPM/CNAPP and cloud security.Detection engineering experience using platform query languages (CQL or similar).
Python scripting, APIs, Git and CI/CD experience.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Experience across AWS, Azure or GCP is highly regarded.Exposure to Identity Threat Detection (ITDR) and AI-driven security tools is advantageous.
