As part of theCultural Assessment and Liaison Team (CALT), you will support Aboriginal andTorres Strait Islander people accessing Child and Youth Mental Health Servicesby providing culturally safe support,guidanceand advocacy.
Workingalongside multidisciplinary mental health teams, you'll help strengthencultural safety, support positive careexperiencesand contribute tobetter wellbeing outcomes for children, youngpeopleandfamilies.

In this roleyou will:

Requirements

Applicantsmustholda Certificate IV or Diploma in one of the following:
Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres StraitIslander Primary HealthCertificate IV in Mental HealthCertificate IV in AlcoholandOtherDrugs
A suitableapplicant who does not currently hold a relevant qualification may beconsidered for a temporary appointment while undertaking a supported trainingpathway.
Upon successful completion, the employeewillprogress to apermanent appointment.
Eligibility to obtain andmaintaina BlueCard (Working with Children Check)A current Class C driver's licence
