ACCIONA, as part of the CoastalTraX consortium, is delivering design and pre-construction works ahead of major construction from mid-****, supporting the region's growth and the Brisbane **** Games.About OpportunityReporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll establish and manage cost planning through design and into delivery for The Wave Stage 1.
You'll set up cost plans against the project work breakdown structure, run quantity take-offs at each design stage, and flag risks and opportunities early.
Working closely with engineering, commercial and procurement teams,
you'll help shape value-for-money outcomes and keep the project team informed through clear, accurate reporting.Key accountabilities for the position will be:Manage cost planning using master cost plan documentsSet up cost plans against the Package Work Breakdown StructureRun quantity take-offs at each design stage against tender quantitiesFlag risks and opportunities early in designSupport procurement on value-for-money solutionsDeliver clear cost reports and monthly forecastsPartner with Digital Engineering on 5D cost planning and automated take-offsRequired Skills and CompetenciesQuantity Surveying degree, MRICS or equivalent preferredExperience in infrastructure cost planning and estimatingBackground on major rail, transport or civil projectsStrong knowledge of 3D/5D cost planning toolsConstruction Induction (White Card) and current driver licenceAbout the CompanyACCIONA has been given the Top Employer ****, ****, **** & **** certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
