Support for you and your family via our Employee Assistance Program.Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.About the roleNurse Consultant (NC) provides expert clinical nursing leadership, coordination, and support to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based care for paediatric emergency patients.
The role leads patient flow initiatives, develops clinical systems and processes,



and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.In the course in fulfilling the role of WFC NC PED will provide direct clinical coordination and expertise, ensuring a safe effective practice environment which supports the management of patient flow in the PED including the Emergency Extended Care Unit (EECU).
Key duties of the roleCoordinate paediatric emergency patient flow, support clinical decision-making, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely and effective patient careContribute to the development of, implementation of, and monitoring of corporate policies and processes and lead in their area of expertiseHold a contemporary professional practice portfolio containing evidence of postgraduate qualifications, learning and practice experience that underpin a demonstrable application of knowledge and skills commensurate with the level and type of practice expected of the role.Contribute specific expertise to monitor and evaluate research activities in order to improve nursing or midwifery practice and service deliveryProvides leadership and direction, acts a role model, mentor,
