With an established presence across Australia and continued growth in their service offering, they are looking to strengthen their Sydney team with an experienced Field Service Supervisor.
About the RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced A-Grade Electrician to take ownership of field service activities across Sydney.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll supervise technicians and subcontractors while also getting involved in maintenance, commissioning, fault finding and new site installations.
Working predominantly across Western Sydney, you'll manage your own schedule and work directly with customers, while having the support of an experienced Service Delivery Manager, engineering team and wider service team in Victoria.
The role also offers exposure to the software side of warehouse automation, supporting new installations through testing and go-live.
Training will be provided, and no programming or coding experience is required.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise technicians and subcontractors on customer sitesCarry out electrical and mechanical maintenance,
commissioning and fault findingSupport new automation installations through testing, commissioning and go-liveTroubleshoot PLC-controlled automated equipment and material handling systemsWork with warehouse automation software, WMS/WCS and SCADA environmentsAct as a key technical contact for customers and provide technical support when requiredManage service activities and customer requirements across SydneySupport interstate projects when required, with travel generally planned in advanceBuild strong customer relationships and support the continued growth of the service operationAbout YouCurrent A-Grade Electrical Licence with strong hands-on electrical experienceExperience within warehouse automation, material handling, conveyors, manufacturing or industrial automationStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skillsPLC experience, ideally SiemensPrevious experience leading technicians, subcontractors or installation teamsExposure to WMS/WCS, SCADA or automation software would be advantageousConfident working autonomously and managing your own scheduleStrong communication skills and comfortable working directly with customersFlexible, proactive and willing to remain hands-onWhat's on OfferHome-to-site role predominantly covering Western SydneyCar allowance, superannuation and overtimeOptional on-call workTraining and exposure to new warehouse automation software and technologyInterstate travel with flights and accommodation coveredSupport from an established engineering and service teamOpportunity to take ownership of the Sydney service operation and grow with the teamRequirementsCurrent Australian A-Grade Electrical LicenceAustralian working rights requiredSponsorship is not available for this positionFor more information, get in touch with Bronwen Webb.
