This is a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) role, working an 8 on / 6 off roster.
Camp accommodation and meals are provided whilst on site.Reporting to the Mining Manager, this role will be accountable for:Key ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite supervision of earthmoving and haulage operations, including the movement of overburden, ore, topsoil stripping and vegetation clearing, ensuring activities are completed in accordance with the mine plan, environmental requirements and applicable government regulations.Conduct daily quarry inspections and report hazards, defects and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.Coordinate and manage site civil works across all departments, ensuring projects are delivered safely,
efficiently and within approved budgets.Manage and maintain tailings storage facilities (TSFs), haul roads, access roads, waste dump facilities and associated infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation, minimising operational risks.Supervise and coordinate bulk haulage contractors and specialist subcontractors undertaking civil, mining and rehabilitation works, ensuring compliance with site safety requirements, operational standards and project specifications.Monitor contractor performance, productivity and costs to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule and within budget.Direct and supervise earthmoving activities to achieve annual rehabilitation targets and support closure and landform development objectives.Contribute to the development and execution of overburden, ore civil, rehabilitation and landform work plans that align with departmental objectives and organisational goals.Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, environmental requirements and mining regulations.Liaise effectively with Mining, Production, Maintenance, SHEQ and Technical Services teams to coordinate work activities and achieve operational objectives.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance safety, productivity,
environmental performance and cost efficiency.About YouCurrent C Class Drivers' Licence (essential).
Holds a Restricted Quarry Manager Certificate (Non explosives minimum)Holds a Site Senior Executive accreditation (SSE)Holds Statutory Supervisor accreditationFull working rights in Australia – no restrictions.Solid experience in a Mining Coordinator role.Why Join Tronox?
