We work with communities, organisations and government to build inclusive communities where everyone is valued and supported.We are seeking Team Leader – Specialist Homelessness Services - Women's Domestic & Family Violence join our team in Tweed heads, Lismore or Ballina on a Full-time Fixed Term basis.Job DescriptionMeaningful work that makes a differenceSupportive and collaborative team cultureProfessional development and growth opportunities opportunitiesCompetitive salary, salary packaging and wellness benefitsWhat you'll be doingLead, support and supervise frontline program worker teams including qualified counsellorsOversee day-to-day front-line operations, safety and service qualityParticipate in and provide reflective guidance and coaching to program workers and support staffEnsure trauma-informed, person-centred practice is embedded across servicesMaintain compliance with funding agreements, policies and legislative requirementsWork in partnership with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), Elders and local stakeholdersFoster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships outside (ACCOs)Support staff wellbeing,
service improvement and positive client outcomesWhat we're looking forQualifications in social work, human services or psychology.
Registration or eligibility for registration in the relevant fieldDemonstrated leadership experience within domestic and family violence, homelessness or refuge servicesExcellent communication, leadership and people-management skillsUnderstanding of the ongoing impacts of colonisation, intergenerational trauma and systemic disadvantage including factors impacting familiesA commitment to culturally safe, strengths based and trauma-informed practiceThis position has been identified as a female-only role under the Anti-Discrimination Act **** (NSW), Section 31, Exemption #48.Social Futures is committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported to thrive.
