The Koroit op shop is not a side project for us.
It is how we fund the work.
Money through that till pays for the services we deliver to our families and keeps the foundation's doors open.We're looking for someone to join the team & to run the shop floor with us.The roleMost days you'll be the only paid person on the floor, working alongside a team of volunteers.What you'll doServe customers, process sales and handle cash and card paymentsReceive donations, sort them, price them and get them onto the floorMerchandise the shop so it looks like somewhere people want to shop, not somewhere people dump thingsKeep the floor tidy, safe and well stockedOpen and close, and reconcile the till at end of dayWork with our volunteers,



keep them busy and make sure they have a positive dayEscalate anything that needs a decision to your managerWho we're afterYou can run a shift on your own and back your own judgementYou're just as happy working as part of a team when others are onYou get on with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Our volunteers give their time for nothing.
They deserve to enjoy being hereRetail or customer service experience helps, but attitude matters more than a CVYou can lift, carry and move stockYou turn up when you say you willYou're comfortable on a POS system, or willing to learnYou have discretion.
