Finance Manager | Circa $135,000 Package | Inner Suburbs | Dynamic BusinessSuited to an experienced accountant with SME standalone experienceInner south eastern suburbs, close to public transport | Work flexibilityPrivately owned growing business with a dynamic fun cultureThe OpportunityAn excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the finance function within an established, privately owned marketing and creative business.Working closely with the owners and senior leadership team, this is a broad and hands‐on Finance Manager position spanning financial control, management reporting, budgeting, accounts and payroll.Operating in a fast-paced and creative environment, you will have significant autonomy to improve processes, strengthen financial controls and provide the commercial insights required to support business decision‐making.The ChallengeIn this Finance Manager role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Own the month‐end close, balance sheet reconciliations and day‐to‐day financial controlManage end to end accounts payable, receivable and bank reconciliationsPrepare monthly management reporting covering revenue, margins, profitability,



cash flow and broader business performancePartner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial analysis and support business decisionsAnalyse project and client profitability, including budgets, margins and third‐party costsManage payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and debtor managementWork closely with external accountants across BAS, payroll tax, statutory reporting and tax planningMaintain accurate financial information within XeroImprove finance workflows, controls, reporting and documentationIdentify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance functionThe ExpertiseTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Previous experience in a broad Finance Manager, Senior Bookkeper or senior finance role within founder led businessesStrong hands‐on accounting skills with the willingness to work across both transactional and higher‐level finance responsibilitiesExperience using Xero and solid Excel skillsCommercially minded with the ability to interpret financial information and communicate it clearly to non‐finance stakeholdersExperience within marketing, media, creative, professional services or another project‐based environment will be highly regardedStrong stakeholder management skills and confidence partnering directly with business ownersA proactive, organised and hands‐on approach with the ability to operate autonomously
