Emergency Medicine Consultant - FACEMSt John of God Geelong Hospital | Geelong, Victoria Fixed-Term | Multiple Positions | Up to 2.0 FTE | Potential Permanent OpportunitiesSante Recruitment is seeking experienced and highly motivated Emergency Medicine Consultants (FACEM) to join the Emergency Department at St John of God Geelong Hospital.These positions are initially offered on a fixed-term basis to provide leave cover, with the potential for successful applicants to transition into permanent roles.Multiple opportunities are available, totalling up to 2.0 FTE, with the flexibility to appoint one or more Consultants.
Appointment duration and FTE allocation will be determined according to departmental requirements and service needs.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, collaborative and supportive Emergency Department and contribute to high-quality specialist patient care while developing your interests in clinical leadership, teaching and quality improvement.The Role As an Emergency Medicine Consultant, you will provide specialist emergency care across a broad range of presentations, including the management of high-acuity and complex patients.You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the ongoing development of the Emergency Department.The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to:

About You
You will be an experienced Emergency Medicine specialist with:
FACEM or equivalent professional membershipDemonstrated substantial experience managing high-acuity patientsExperience working within a complex hospital environmentStrong clinical leadership skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamA commitment to clinical quality, patient safety and continuous improvementA strong commitment to teaching and career development
Remuneration & Advantages
Attractive remuneration package $384,257 - $480,321 + 12% superannuationPro rata for part-time appointments.In addition, the hospital offers:
