our-story/About the roleWe are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pick Packers to join the Morcofresh team on a casual basis.
This is a hands‐on position in our fast‐paced logistics and distribution centre located in Lidcombe, NSW ****.
As a Pick Packer, you will be integral to ensuring our products are accurately selected, packed and prepared for dispatch to our customers.This role offers multiple shift times to suit different availability, with the following options available:12:00 pm – 8:00 pm4:00 pm – 12:00 amThis flexibility makes the role ideal for those seeking casual work with a choice of shift times.
You will work in a dynamic warehouse setting where efficiency, accuracy and teamwork are paramount.What you'll be doingAccurately picking products from shelving and storage areas according to order specifications and warehouse management system instructionsCarefully packing items into boxes, cartons or containers, ensuring products are secure and protected during transitApplying labels, barcodes and shipping information to packed items in a timely and accurate mannerMaintaining accurate records of picked and packed items using warehouse management systemsInspecting items for quality and ensuring they meet company standards before packingOperating material handling equipment such as trolleys and pallet jacks as requiredMaintaining a clean,



organised and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety regulationsMeeting daily productivity targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracyCommunicating effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve any issues or discrepanciesContributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues when neededWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a Pick Packer, warehouse operative or similar role in a fast‐paced distribution environmentStrong attention to detail with the ability to pick and pack items accurately and efficientlyPhysical capability to perform repetitive tasks, lift items regularly and stand for extended periodsCompetency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer literacyAvailability to work one or more of our available shifts: 4:00 am–12:00 pm, 12:00 pm–8:00 pm, or 4:00 pm–12:00 amAbility to work flexibly across different days, including weekends where requiredExcellent time management skills with the ability to meet productivity targetsA safety‐conscious mindset with knowledge of workplace health and safety practicesStrong communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to collaborate with colleaguesReliability and punctuality, particularly important for casual shift workA valid driver's licence is advantageousPrevious experience in the fresh produce or food logistics sector is preferredWhat we offerMorcofresh provides a supportive and inclusive workplace where casual employees are valued members of the team.
