Available sites are in and around Scone, Muswellbrook, Merriwa, and Murrurundi.About the RoleAs a Cleaner, you'll play a vital role in maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
You'll be part of a supportive team committed to delivering quality cleaning services that help students, staff, and visitors feel safe and comfortable.Your daily tasks will include:Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and general cleaning dutiesSanitising restrooms, classrooms, offices, and shared spacesFollowing cleaning schedules and proceduresSafely using cleaning equipment and chemicalsReporting hazards, maintenance issues, and supply needsAssisting with deep cleans, programmed works, and special tasksTypical Shift PatternsCleaning roles across schools and government sites operate at fixed times that cannot be adjusted to suit individual preferences.

including travel time to and from site.School sitesgenerally operate across two shifts:Morning shifts: start between 4:00am - 6:00am and finish between 7:00am - 9:30amAfternoon shifts: start between 1:00pm - 3:00pm and finish between 6:00pm - 7:00pmOther government sites and facilitiesmay operate outside standard school hours, with start and finish times varying based on operational requirements.Casual shiftsmay include earlier morning starts or later evening finishes to support relief coverage across multiple sites.ImportantThe availability you indicate in your application must reflect the hours you are genuinely able to work.
