Providing an opportunity for young people to receive help early and promote a 'no wrong door' approach to supporting young people and their families through the provision of GPs, counsellors, Alcohol & other Drug workers and Vocational and Educational support.Alfred Health is the lead agency for this program and offers the opportunity to work in a growing dynamic healthcare environment.What you'll be doingAs our Community Awareness Worker, you will work with theheadspace Centre Manager to review, coordinate and implement theheadspace Elsternwick Community Awareness and Engagement Strategy.You will also be implementing a new and innovative approach to volunteering with the @ease youth participation model that will focus on improving young people's access and engagement with the service.Youwill bring with youexperience in working with young people, as well as experience in community engagement, health promotion, public health behavioural/social sciences, communications, marketing, education and/or youth work.About youQualifications in Health Promotion, Youth Work, Community Development, Social/Behavioural Science, Social Work/Planning or a related discipline.Robust facilitation and public speaking skillsDemonstrated experience working with young people with mental health, alcohol and other drug,
