Lopez Reeves Pty Ltd is seeking a Cook to join our hospitality team on a casual basis.
This position is based in Black Rock VIC **** and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment where culinary excellence and teamwork are paramount.
As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining the standards that define our establishment.
This casual role provides flexibility whilst allowing you to contribute meaningfully to our food preparation and service operations.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes, portion sizes and plating standardsMaintain cleanliness and organisation of your workstation and cooking equipment at all timesEnsure all food preparation and cooking practices comply with health and safety regulationsMonitor food quality and consistency whilst adapting to customer preferences and dietary requirementsWork collaboratively with kitchen staff to manage meal service during busy periodsRotate stock and ingredients appropriately, following proper food storage proceduresCommunicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service deliveryContribute to the continuous improvement of menu items and food presentationWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a Cook in a skilled kitchen environmentStrong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and culinary fundamentalsExcellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards,
