You'll also have access to the Feed Australia program, offering expert resources for menu planning, budgeting, and nutrition.You WillPlan, prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children of all agesManage food ordering, stock control, and kitchen budgetsCater for allergies, dietary requirements, and cultural needsMaintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen complianceMonitor and evaluate menus to ensure nutritional balanceEngage children in positive conversations and learning opportunities about healthy eatingBuild positive relationships with families and the centre teamAbout YouYou're a reliable and organised cook who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in providing healthy,



delicious meals.You'll HaveCurrent Food Safety Supervisor and Food Handling CertificateExperience in bulk meal preparation and kitchen managementStrong understanding of food safety regulations and nutritional requirementsExperience working within budget and managing stock levelsA genuine passion for children's health and wellbeingReliable transport to and from the centreDesirableCertificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)Previous experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care settingCurrent First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualificationsWhy Join Affinity Education?
