social support and assisting with shopping and appointmentsProvide direct assistance to clients with home duties and possible personal careAssist clients with maintaining a clean-living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.Promote independence among clients by encouraging them to participate in activities that enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.Establish positive relationships with clients through effective communication, active listening, and understanding their individual needs.Maintain accurate records of client interactions including observations made during visits or shifts.Report any changes or concerns regarding the client's health or well-beingComply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations related to social care practices.Qualifications:A valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable registered vehicle and insuranceAustralian Federal Police Check (or willing to obtain one)First Aid and CPR certifications are preferredQualification - Cert III or IV Individual Support or Aged Care or Disability (Nursing students please apply)
