With a strong focus on gardening and general handyman work, no two days will necessarily look the same.Why you'll love this roleThis isn't just about fixing things and maintaining gardens — the work you do directly contributes to the comfort, safety and quality of life of our residents.You'll be part of a supportive team where your skills are valued and where you can see the difference your work makes every day.As a casual team member, you'll also have the flexibility to pick up shifts to cover planned leave and unexpected absences, making this a great role for someone looking for flexible hours.What you'll be doingKeeping gardens, outdoor areas and pathways neat, secure and welcomingTackling general handyman and maintenance jobs around the siteHelping keep buildings,



equipment and communal areas in great conditionIdentifying maintenance issues and letting the right people know before small problems become big onesHelping with maintenance and gardening supplies and keeping things organisedKeeping maintenance records and schedules up to dateSupporting essential safety and compliance requirementsCoordinating with contractors when requiredKeeping site vehicles clean, organised and ready to goProviding occasional on-call support when neededStepping in to cover planned leave and short-notice absencesWhat we're looking forMost importantly, you're practical, dependable and take pride in your work.You'll ideally bring:Experience with gardening and general handyman/maintenance workA practical, can‐do attitude and the ability to work independentlyGood attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean, safe and well presentedFlexibility to pick up casual shifts, including at short notice when requiredA current Driver's LicenseExperience in maintenance, facilities, property upkeep or a similar roleA relevant trade qualification is highly regardedExperience working in aged care or a similar environment is desirableA current National Police Certificate, or willingness to obtain oneA willingness to meet Aged Care Worker Screening requirementsWhat's in it for you?
