Working Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6:30am to 2:00pm, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

maintaining daily and periodic cleaning schedules for food preparation and food service areasServing residents meals in dining hall services and trolley service to rooms, washing dishes, sandwich making, providing cups of tea or coffee to residents and their visitorsProvide feedback regarding residents' likes and dislikes regarding menu planning and elevate any observations or concerns in residents conditionsPromote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and skilled relationships with residents, their relatives and friendsSupport colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertiseAbout you:This is the place for you if you:Have experience and expertise working in food service; preferably in a health, hotel or aged care settingCan work at a fast pace as part of a teamAre experienced in customer service and provide excellent standard of serviceHave the initiative and ability to work without supervisionThrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactionsAre committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BESTway of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)Essentials for working in Aged Care:A current Working With Children Check cardCurrent and ongoing flu vaccinationsAbility to pass a national police clearance and NDIS ClearanceMake a positive difference in your community –Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply for this role.You can access the position description here:Food Services Assistant PD.pdfFor more information please contact the Recruitment Team ******.
