You'll lead a team working across renewable generation, battery storage and hybrid projects connecting into the National Electricity Market (NEM).
You'll provide technical direction on complex grid connection projects while helping develop the capability of the wider Power Systems team.What You'll Be DoingLead, mentor and develop a high-performing Power Systems teamProvide technical leadership across grid connection and power system studiesOversee modelling using PSS®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory and OEM modelsSupport clients with connection strategy, GPS, system strength and NEM requirementsWork across renewable generation,



BESS and hybrid projectsCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and advisory teamsContribute to business development and long-term client relationshipsHelp grow the team through strategic recruitment and developing internal talentAbout YouWe're looking for an experienced Power Systems Engineer ready to take the next step into a genuine leadership position.You'll Ideally BringSignificant Power Systems, grid connection or related energy experienceExperience with PSS®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory or equivalentStrong understanding of Generator Performance Standards (GPS) and NER Chapter 5Experience across renewable generation, BESS or other generation assetsStrong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skillsAn Electrical Engineering degree and RPEQ, or willingness to obtainExperience within a consultancy, NSP, utility, renewable developer or generation setting will be highly regarded.
