The Opportunity Halcyon Knights is partnering with a Queensland-based organisation seeking an experienced Project Officer to support the delivery of a key business project.This role is ideal for a highly organised and proactive professional with strong project coordination and administration experience.
You will work closely with project leaders and stakeholders to ensure project activities remain on track, governance requirements are met, and business engagement activities are effectively coordinated.The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior leaders and managing competing priorities in a dynamic project setting.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate project activities, schedules, milestones, and deliverablesMaintain project documentation, action registers, risk logs, and governance recordsPrepare reports, presentations, briefing papers, and meeting materialsSupport stakeholder engagement and communication activitiesCoordinate project meetings, workshops,



and working groupsMonitor project progress and follow up actions to ensure delivery deadlines are metAssist with project reporting and performance trackingSupport change management and business engagement initiativesEnsure project information and documentation remain accurate and up to dateAbout You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Previous experience as a Project Officer, Project Coordinator, or similarStrong project administration and coordination skillsAdvanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TeamsExperience preparing reports, presentations, project documentation, and stakeholder communicationsExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsConfidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executivesExperience supporting business change or transformation initiativesExposure to Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologiesWhat's on OfferInitial 6-month contractBrisbane CBD location$69-$79 per hour plus super dependent on experienceOpportunity to work on a high-profile business projectCollaborative and supportive team environmentImmediate start available
