Limelight People is recruiting Remote Area Nurses (RANs) for 4-12 week contract roles across remote Queensland.Work in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and remote clinics across the Far North, Central and Outback Queensland, delivering primary health care where it's needed most.
We also support Emergency Nurses transitioning into Remote Area Nursing for the first time.Locations includeTorres and Cape; Pormpuraaw, Kowanyama, Hopevale, Coconut Island, Boigu Island etcNorth West; Camooweal, Burketown etcCentral West; Boulia, Jundah, Bedourie etcSouth West; Bollen, Morven etcAbout the Role4-12 week Remote Area Nursing contracts, with extensions often availablePrimary health care delivery in Aboriginal Community Health Clinics and remote outpostsOn-call / after-hours responsibilities depending on siteTransition support available for Emergency Nurses new to remote practiceKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver primary health care, chronic disease management and acute presentations autonomouslyRespond to emergency and urgent care presentations in a low-resource settingProvide culturally protected,
