About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to
appoint to a permanent, full-time Senior Data Engineer position
that has become available with the Data and Digital Innovation
team.
In this position, the successful applicant will be
responsible for the development, enhancement, and implementation of
the EMHS hybrid data and analytics platform as well as in assisting
in the complex analysis and development of digital solutions to
inform operational and strategic decision making as required.
Key
duties include, but are not limited to;
Manage the data and analytics platform, ensuring the
production of accurate and relevant data within agreed
timeframes.
Apply corporate governance requirements to data as they
apply to operations and maintain overall responsibility to
ensure the data systems are managed in compliance with relevant
legislation.
Define and identify methodologies and technical solutions
for the retrieval and dissemination of patterns and
associations in transactional, meta and summary data sets.
Develops and maintains productive internal and external
stakeholder relationships to facilitate a customer focused,
collaborative and partnership approach to ensure deliverables
are achieved for assigned portfolio.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the

The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an
extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain
and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 828,000 Western
Australians in its catchment area.
Our hospital network works together to provide a combination of
tertiary,
secondary and specialist health care services including
emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency
surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient
services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women's,
