Microhire is a unique events specialist company that provides audio visual, lighting, innovative hi-tech equipment and superior customer service experience to our corporate affiliations.We are currently seeking an experienced Electronics Service Technician to conduct maintenance and repair tasks on a myriad of electronic equipment devices such as powered speakers, Audio desk (mixing console) LED lights, DMX lights, LED panels, laptops, etc.Tasks would include, but are not limited to:Diagnose, test and rectify faults;Repair all kinds of electronic equipment such as laptops, audio desk, powered speakers, projectors, lamps, batteries,



spare parts etcRectify faults in electronic circuitsSoldering as requiredCleaning and maintenance of equipment/assetsMaintenance of record keeping of equipment/assetsSource quotes from supplier for parts to fix equipment/assetsEscalate poor management of equipment as requiredMake recommendations to improve equipment handling as required.
Providing suggestions on how to improve shelf life of equipment e.g. protective casesAssist with stock take as requiredOperate plant and machinery as required;Adhere to Work Health Safety policies are followedAll other associated electronic repairs in the Audio visual industryEssential skills:Must be experienced in electronic repair and maintenance or have an Electronic trade certification.Ability to inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair electronic equipmentMinimum 2 years' relevant experience and knowledgeTest and Tag License preferableAbility to multitask, prioritise and be extremely organisedThe successful candidate may be required to undertake a police check and/or full medical including drug and alcohol screen.All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have full work rights.
