We're looking for dynamic and engaging Support Workers to lead activities in our Youth Day Programs.
This role is perfect for someone who brings high energy, creativity, and confidence to group activities and enjoys helping young people build skills, friendships, and independence.Experience in disability support is great — but attitude, energy, and the ability to connect with young people are what matter most.
If you're enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to get involved, we want to hear from you.About the ProgramOur Youth Day Programs support young people with disability to build confidence, social skills, and independence through engaging activities and community experiences.Programs include:Community outings and social activitiesSports, fitness, and recreationLife skills and independence buildingCreative workshops and group activitiesConfidence building and social connectionOur clients thrive with positive role models who bring enthusiasm and encouragement, creating a safe and fun environment where they can grow and explore new opportunities.The RoleAs a Youth Program Support Worker, you will help lead and facilitate activities both in-centre and out in the community.You'll play a key role in making programs fun, engaging, and meaningful while supporting participants to build independence and confidence.Responsibilities include:Facilitating group activities and community outingsSupporting young people to build social skills and independenceEncouraging participation and confidence in new experiencesProviding 1:1 or small group supportAssisting with personal care where requiredFollowing individual support plans and behaviour support strategiesRecording participant progress and collaborating with the wider support teamEvery day is different,
from running activities and exploring the community to helping participants develop life skills and friendships.What Your Week Looks LikeYouth programs run Monday - Friday from 9:00am – 3:00pm.Programs take place across Sydney, with a strong focus on:Blacktown, Rooty Hill & Castle HillGuildfordYou'll support a mix of on-site activities and community-based programs, helping young people stay active, engaged, and connected.Applicants must have:NDIS Worker Screening CheckWorking With Children CheckCurrent First Aid & CPR certificationValid NSW Driver's Licence (Full or P2)Right to work in AustraliaDesirable (but not essential)Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability)Experience in disability, youth work, or community programsExperience supporting individuals with complex needs or behavioursWhy Join CPA?
