Courier Driver
to join our team in Ulverstone, TAS ****.
This is a
full-time position
that plays a vital role in our logistics operations, ensuring that parcels and documents are delivered efficiently and safely to our customers.
As a Courier Driver, you will be the face of our company, representing our commitment to excellent customer service and timely delivery.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation as a trusted freight distribution provider in the region.
What you'll be doing
Collecting and delivering parcels, documents and freight to customers within assigned routes
Operating your vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations
Providing professional customer service, handling enquiries and resolving delivery issues promptly
Inspecting your vehicle daily for mechanical issues and reporting any maintenance requirements
Loading and unloading freight safely, using proper lifting techniques and equipment where necessary
Planning efficient delivery routes to maximise productivity
Communicating with management regarding delivery progress and any obstacles encountered
Ensuring all packages are handled with care to prevent damage during transit




What we're looking for
A valid Australian driver's licence
National Police Check
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions whilst on the road
Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry parcels regularly
Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to meeting delivery schedules
Basic IT skills for recording deliveries and updating tracking systems
A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction
