In this role, you will deliver scheduled home maintenance and home gardening services and support the safety of our clients homes and surroundings.Key responsibilities:Perform lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, brush cuttingand weedingClear and remove green debrisConduct light pruning and trimming of hedges and small treesConduct repairs or maintenance of the garden or home to improve safety, accessibility and independence within the home environmentConduct working at height related repairs or cleaning for participant health and safety i.e. within the home – clean interior windows ceiling fans, air-conditioners, bathroom exhaust fans and other high access items including overhead cupboards; and outside the home – clear gutters, clean exterior windows,



pressure washingRepair of external access pathways to address slip and trip hazards and access issuesOther things you might like to know:Availability required Monday - Friday with 7am starting timeGenuine casual position, hours will be offered on an as-needed basisWe provide you with all the tools and equipment you will needYou will be required to complete a pre-employment medical to demonstrate fitness for work (at no cost to you)You will be required to provide a First Aid and CPR certificate & Construction Induction (White Card) prior to starting, this will be at your own cost.Some travel required to participant homes across Wide Bay (such as Childers, Gin Gin) using a Comlink vehicle and trailer stocked with all required equipmentAbout you:Relevant and recent experience working in home and garden servicesExcellent communication skills, resilience, patience and the ability to remain calm under pressurePhysical fitness(and willingness to undergo a functional fitness test)High organisational skills, reliability, efficiency and can manage your time wellCompetency operating a vehicle while towing an equipment trailerExperience working in an aged care workplace is desirable but not essentialReady to make an impact?
