Merimbula RSL Club is seeking a Part Time Restaurant Supervisor to join our hospitality team.
This is a part‐time position based in Merimbula, NSW, contributing to an excellent dining experience for our members and guests.
As Restaurant Supervisor, you will oversee restaurant operations, manage staff performance, and ensure consistent service excellence across all dining areas.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation as a welcoming and professionally run establishment within the community.Key responsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate waiting staff during service periods, ensuring professional and attentive service deliveryMonitor table service standards and guest satisfaction throughout dining serviceTrain and mentor waiting staff on menu knowledge, service protocols and customer careManage reservation systems and table allocation to optimise seating efficiencyHandle guest queries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly and courteouslyAssist with stock management and ensure dining areas are well-stocked with necessary suppliesMaintain health and safety compliance standards within the restaurantSupport the restaurant team during busy periods and provide practical assistance with table service as neededReport on service performance and operational matters to managementContribute to roster planning and scheduling of waiting staffWhat we're looking forProven experience working in a hospitality setting, ideally with supervisory or team lead experienceStrong knowledge of restaurant operations, table service standards and dining etiquetteExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead,
