This is an excellent prospect to gain hands‐on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification in Painting and Decorating.As an apprentice, you will be employed by our client and receive structured workplace training and support while completing your formal training through Building Industry Training.About the RoleWorking alongside experienced tradespeople, you will learn a range of painting and decorating skills, including:Surface preparation, sanding, filling and patchingApplying paints, stains, varnishes and protective coatingsInterior and exterior painting projectsColour matching and paint selectionMasking and protecting work areasSafe use of painting tools and equipmentWorkplace health and safety practicesMaintaining a clean and organised worksiteAbout YouTo be successful,



you will:Be genuinely interested in pursuing a career in Painting & DecoratingHave a strong work ethic and positive attitudeBe reliable, punctual and willing to learnHave good communication skillsBe able to work as part of a team and independently when requiredHold a current White Card (mandatory)Hold a current driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred but not essential)RequirementsCurrent Construction White Card (essential)Commitment to completing a Certificate III in Painting and DecoratingAbility to perform manual work and work at heights when requiredWillingness to follow workplace health and safety proceduresTo be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
